“I found the chord progression for this while practicing piano during lockdown. After finding one melody in the middle of the verse I built the rest of the song around that. Even though it was lockdown inspired, I think that the message of being better off alone rings true beyond its initial inspiration. Sometimes that’s just how we feel, and you may need the time alone, but how much time is enough before you’re climbing up the walls?”
